“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35

At IHM, we are Educated to Lead, and Taught to Serve. Our students are involved in a vast array of charitable works starting with our smallest children in our Pre-Kindergarten program all the way up to our oldest children in 8th grade. These outreach programs give our students the opportunity to get involved in community organizations, and become aware of the immediate needs in our own state. There is great delight, and personal gratification when you can positively affect the lives of others. The outreach programs we support benefit animals, the homeless, those stricken with life threatening diseases, and just some people down on their luck.

True acts of kindness by our students never ceases to amaze our staff and parents.  Their generosity of time, fundraisers, and support help them learn positive character traits which ideally we want them to possess for a lifetime. Whether they are creating artistic Christmas cards for our soldiers, collecting soda pop tabs to raise money for the Ronald McDonald house, selling lemonade for Alex’s Lemonade Stand, or requesting donations for a charity instead of receiving birthday gifts, they are reminded that these are ways to honor and glorify God. Remembering that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Below is a list of organizations which each grade level supports throughout the year.
