Sixth Commandment – You shall not commit adultery.

Virtuous Action – loyal in friendships and relationships

As we begin the month of March, our focus turns to the Seventh Commandment and the virtue of honesty. Much can be said about honesty in today’s culture and the news and social media challenge our under-standing of this virtue each day.

Honesty calls us to sincerity of mind and heart. Although a short definition, it demands a lifetime of being true to oneself and others through our words and actions. Each day is an opportunity to show up as our best self with good intentions, a generous heart, and integrity that reflect who we are.

May Lent be our time to re-commit to honesty in all that we say and do.
